PRAYER 23: Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice

Meditation

Incense was offered every morning and evening before the LORD. Incense is a good symbol for prayer; in that in produces a good aroma signifying prayers from sincere lips and the smoke that rose up signifying our prayers being directed to God. The evening sacrifice of lamb offered along with grain and wine was offering by fire to the LORD that produced pleasant aroma. The burnt offering signifies our complete dedication to the Lord. When we dedicate our lives to serve God and raise our hands in prayer it is very pleasing to God.

Commit to change and offer your lives as a living sacrifice to God and your requests will go up as a pleasing aroma to the LORD.
